Even though it’s mid-July, the late-Spring, early Summer fog that hangs over San Diego’s coastline is still with us, at least in the morning hours.
If you have a convertible, or perhaps want to rent one for a classic San Diego day trip, the sun is nice, but there’s really nothing nicer than a cruise around the coast on an overcast, low-70-degree day. Believe me, it’s much more comfortable being on the cool side when there’s no top on the car.
Here’s a story from back in 2007 when I had a then-new Mustang convertible and did a land cruise around San Diego’s beautiful Mission Bay. Enjoy your ride.
