I’m digging out some of the photos I used in Joyrides Around San Diego in print and on Kindle to tantalize you into taking the trips and perhaps buying the books.

Last week, it was all about Curves, Dirt and Cuyamaca, one of my favorite dirt-road and twisty-road trips in and around the Cuyamaca Rancho State Park in eastern San Diego County.

This week it’s a little bit more to the east and north, but still in the county. It’s the two Blair valleys in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The Blairs are the subject of Off the Grid Journey in its stand-along Kindle book, and Chapter 9 in Joyrides Around San Diego, the print edition of my San Diego County joyrides.

We start with the vista in Little Blair, taken on a cloudy day in 2014. Be sure to follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for more.
