We’re into the prime season for our local desert, where the summer temperatures are just a memory. Here’s a story from February 2010 when I went looking for flowers in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
There aren’t a lot of flowers out there now, but the roads are still there. Here’s a drive that pretty much any all-wheel-drive SUV can take. I was driving a then-new 2010 Cadillac SRX4 2.8T, which is no longer in production, but you get the idea.
