Can’t believe I’ve made it halfway through 30 Drives in 30 Days. Here’s an oldie but a goodie, San Diego’s Streetcar Suburbs, from a decade ago in UT San Diego. It’s a loop through some of the city’s historic neighborhoods north and northeast of downtown. This area developed as the original streetcar line moved north and then east out of the bayfront downtown.

The good news is that since this story was written, the neighborhoods have become even cooler, with new restaurants, restored homes and spruced up old business districts. Enjoy Streetcar Suburbs»
