It was a rare winter storm in May that dumped a few inches of snow in San Diego’s mountains over the weekend. How rare?

The 10 inches at Mount Palomar broke a record dating to 1964, with rainfall records in some parts of the county falling after more than a century.

Mount Laguna and Julian also had snow. Just goes to show that you never know what’s going to happen when you have a Joyride.
