They’ll have apple displays, music, dancing, antique tractors, kids activities, gold panning demos, merchandise for sale, food, beer and wine. What else could you ask for? It’s $5 for adults; kids 12 and under are free. The first 250 paid through the gate get a free pie server.

The event celebrates the 1907 winning of the American Pomological Society‘s Wilder Award by Julian apples. The society recognized the local apples as the country’s best and the locals celebrated. It’s been an off-and-on party ever since.
