The traffic backs up on the freeway and folks fan out trying to find a new way from home to the office.
Pala-Temecula Road and Rice Canyon Road in northern San Diego County are backing up with drivers commuting the 58 or so miles from San Diego to Temecula, reports the San Diego Union-Tribune.
This is along the Journey to the Stars chapter in Joyrides Around San Diego. The good news is that Caltrans says the traffic is mostly a weekday afternoon thing, according to the story.
Most of you taking my drives will be there on the weekend, when you can enjoy a bit of peace in the really quaint and traditional small Native American settlement of Pala.
