Here’s some more proof that we do have autumn — and fall color — in Southern California, including a discussion with a meteorologist, put together by the Riverside Press-Enterprise.
“The short answer is that we do have a fall,” said Alex Tardy, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in San Diego. “But it’s shorter. It’s condensed. Especially compared to most of the United States.”
Reporter Dave Downey, who once worked in the San Diego County edition of the Los Angeles Times if memory serves, talks to other local experts and has some locations in the region for fall fun.
